Hotel Alza Kyoto is frequently praised for its spacious rooms and convenient location near Gion and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Many guests appreciate the modern room design, especially the luxurious bathrooms, and some rooms even feature jacuzzi tubs with built-in TVs. While some guests have noted that the decor is somewhat dated due to the hotel's age, many find it to be a great value for the price, especially with amenities like bento breakfasts and its proximity to the river.

An Anniversary Dream Come True

comfortable bedsluxurious bathroomsexcellent location
Our room, a Superior Double Room River View, was exquisite. The space was generous, and I loved the seating area with the tea set and couch. The city view was enchanting, especially with the river right across the street. The beds were so comfortable, and the shower was my favorite of our trip.
The walk to the subway stations felt a little long at times.
Service

The front desk staff were always friendly and eager to assist with any request. They helped us store our luggage upon early arrival and also secured a cab for us when we departed, really appreciated. I found them very kind, indeed.
